Salt + Stone is a design studio shaped by two distinct landscapes: the California coast and the Arizona desert. Our work draws from the tension between these environments to create homes that feel both grounded and effortless.
We design high-end residences with a focus on how man-made meets the land. Each project begins with careful observation of light, topography, climate, and context… evolving into a built environment that feels inseparable from its surroundings. The goal is not to impose, but to respond.
While we pursue work across a range of locations, our primary focus is in the Los Angeles and Tucson/Phoenix areas, where our understanding of local conditions allows for a more nuanced and site-specific approach. In Tucson, we extend our involvement through construction, ensuring continuity from concept through execution.
